Cause
Solution
Motor rotation direction is reversed
Swap two phases of the motor power supply to correct rotation direction.
Swashplate angle is 0° (no displacement)
For DR control: Adjust the handwheel/lever to increase the swashplate angle. For EP control: Check if the electrical signal (0-10V/4-20mA) is normal.
Suction line is blocked/leaking
Clean or replace the suction filter; repair leaks in the suction line.
Oil level in the tank is too low
Add hydraulic oil to the recommended level (between the tank's upper/lower marks).
Internal wear (e.g., piston/cylinder block)
Overhaul the pump; replace worn parts (pistons, cylinder block, valve plate).
Noise Type
Possible Cause
Solution
Whistling
Cavitation (air in the suction line)
Check for suction line leaks; ensure oil level is sufficient; clean the suction filter.
Knocking
Shaft misalignment or coupling damage
Realign the pump and motor shafts; replace the damaged coupling.
Grinding
Bearing wear or foreign debris in the pump
Disassemble the pump; replace worn bearings; flush internal passages to remove debris.
Vibrating noise
Loose mounting bolts or swashplate jamming
Tighten mounting bolts to the specified torque; inspect the swashplate for jamming (clean or replace if needed).
Cause
Solution
Insufficient oil flow in the cooling system
Check the cooler fan/pump; clean the cooler's heat exchanger (remove dirt buildup).
Hydraulic oil viscosity is too high
Replace with oil of the correct viscosity (15-40 mm²/s at 40°C).
Internal leakage (e.g., worn valve plate)
Overhaul the pump; replace the valve plate and piston seals.
System pressure is too high (overloaded)
Reduce the system load; check if the relief valve is stuck open.
