1.1 What should I do if the actuator does not move when the valve is energized?

Troubleshoot in the following order:

  1. Electrical system check: Use a multimeter to measure whether the power supply voltage and current are normal, whether the wiring is loose or disconnected, and whether the proportional solenoid is burned out (measure the resistance, the normal value is generally 20-50 Ω).
  2. Hydraulic system check: Check whether the inlet pressure of the valve is normal (reaches the rated pressure), whether the stop valve is fully open, and whether the pipeline is blocked.
  3. Valve internal check: Disassemble the valve to check whether the spool is stuck by impurities, whether the pressure compensation valve fails, or whether the seals are swollen and blocked the oil passage.
1.2 What causes the unstable movement of the actuator, and how to solve it?

Common causes and solutions are as follows:

  • Electromagnetic interference: The control signal is unstable. Solution: Install a filter at the power input end, separate the signal line from the power line, and ground the valve body and control cabinet.
  • Oil pollution or insufficient oil: The spool moves inflexibly or the system is short of oil. Solution: Replace the hydraulic oil and filter, and check the oil level of the oil tank.
  • Pressure compensation valve failure: The flow rate changes with the load. Solution: Disassemble and clean the pressure compensation valve, or replace the damaged spring or seal.
  • Leakage in the system: Internal leakage of the valve or pipeline causes pressure loss. Solution: Check and replace the seals, and tighten the pipeline joints.
