Are there any restrictions on the installation position of the A4VSO pump?
No strict restrictions--vertical or horizontal installation is acceptable. However, the pump housing must be fully filled with oil before commissioning and during operation. Suction, pressure, and case drain lines should use flexible components to reduce noise, and case drain lines must be directly connected to the tank without size changes or check valves.
What steps are required to set the pressure for the A4VSO DR (constant pressure control) pump?
1. Close the ball valve to prevent cylinder movement from affecting accuracy; 2. Fill the pump with oil and jog it 5-8 times at low speed to ensure smooth operation; 3. Activate the solenoid relief valve (energized for 7 seconds for no-load startup); 4. After the valve de-energizes, gradually increase the pump pressure to the target value (e.g., 180 bar); 5. Adjust the relief valve to 200 bar (20 bar higher than the pump pressure) until the return line shows pressure relief characteristics.
What is the recommended temperature range for the A4VSO pump during operation?
The minimum ambient temperature is -25°C (short-term cold start), and the maximum case drain temperature must not exceed 90°C. The tank temperature should be controlled to maintain the oil viscosity within the optimal range.
